Product overview
DDGS are the co-product of ethanol production from grains, most commonly corn. Global DDGS output has soared (from ~20 MMT a decade ago to about 42 MMT in 2021) as ethanol use has grown. DDGS are a high-energy, moderate-protein feed: typical corn DDGS contains >30% protein (with much as rumen-bypass protein), ~10–12% fat and ~40% fiber. These attributes make DDGS an economical substitute for both corn and soybean meal in ruminant diets. Studies show that adding DDGS (20–30% of diet) can improve overall feed efficiency and weight gain in cattle, with minimal negative effects. Critically, using DDGS repurposes ethanol byproducts into animal nutrition, enhancing sustainability. AGROMULTI integrates DDGS into feed formulations to lower feed costs and carbon footprint, supporting eco-friendly growth in dairy and beef production.
