Innovation with Responsibility
Indonesia, as one of the world’s leading agricultural nations, plays a pivotal role. By 2025, Indonesia’s compound feed market is projected to grow at 4–5% annually, fueled by rising poultry and aquaculture consumption. Yet with growth comes responsibility: sustainable practices in feed production can contribute significantly to reducing carbon footprints, minimizing waste, and protecting ecosystems.
AGROMULTI embraces this responsibility by aligning our strategies with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), ensuring that our growth contributes positively to people, planet, and prosperity.

Our Sustainability Priorities: Aligned with the UN SDGs
Global population is expected to reach 9.7 billion by 2050, requiring a 70% increase in food production. Livestock feed is central to this equation. By providing high-quality, nutrient-rich feed ingredients such as Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE), Soybean Meal, Rapeseed Meal, Corn, and DDGS, we enhance livestock productivity while lowering costs for farmers. This directly supports food security in Indonesia and our export markets (China, South Korea, Vietnam, and beyond).
Impact: Every 1 MT of PKE replaces imported grains, saving valuable land and water resources while supporting efficient milk and meat production.

Our flagship product, Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE), is a byproduct of palm oil processing. Instead of becoming waste, PKE is repurposed into a sustainable feed ingredient, contributing to a circular economy. This reduces pressure on natural ecosystems by maximizing resource efficiency.
Data Insight: Each tonne of PKE reused as feed avoids ~1.5 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent emissions compared to alternative feed crops, according to life-cycle studies in ruminant production.

Livestock accounts for about 14.5% of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (FAO). Feed optimization—using high-energy, high-protein ingredients—can significantly cut methane emissions per liter of milk or kilogram of meat. AGROMULTI’s portfolio (PKE, DDGS, and rapeseed meal) improves feed conversion efficiency by up to 5–10%, reducing methane intensity from ruminants.
Impact: A dairy farm adopting PKE at 3 kg/day per cow can cut methane emissions per liter of milk by up to 7%, contributing to greener dairy production.

Water use in agriculture is under intense global scrutiny, with 70% of freshwater withdrawals going to food production. By sourcing feed ingredients like PKE and DDGS—byproducts that require no additional irrigation— AGROMULTI helps conserve water compared to producing new feed crops like soy or maize.
Impact: Feeding PKE instead of 1 tonne of maize saves ~1,500–2,000 liters of water, supporting water security in regions facing climate stress.

Indonesia’s livestock sector employs millions of farmers, smallholders, and feed mill workers. AGROMULTI strengthens local economies by creating stable supply chains, investing in quality assurance, and supporting inclusive trade. By building export opportunities to the EU, Australia, and New Zealand, we also integrate Indonesian feed producers into high-value global markets.
Impact: Each 10,000 MT of feed exports supports hundreds of jobs across logistics, farming, and port operations, amplifying rural incomes and economic resilience.
